Choosing eye wear for the working environment is tricky. I shudder to think of Elton John eyeglasses on my vet, a surgeon or president of a financial institution... but I so look up to the man with his fantastic sense of fashion and style, and his enormous talent!
For the office, stay professional. Be conservative with your frame shapes and colors. Classic shapes - ovals, rectangles and almonds - never really go out of fashion.
Think traditional frames in gold, silver, brown, gray or black. And I'd skip the plastic frames unless they are mega-conservative in low-key colors and the basic lens shapes I already mentioned. Doesn't make you want to go to work, does it?!
